As a tribute to fashion and cultural history, placing these elements into jewelry carries on their legacy of beauty and value that would otherwise be lost to time.

Background note...Fascination with the Orient in the 1920s and 30s spawned a fashion and decorating craze known as Chinoiserie. Our dynasty-inspired Vintage Jadeite Necklace is typical of the period. Small European and Japanese glass workshops that made elements for jewelry were closed during or just after WWII. These glass elements are from that era.
